I believe one of the most courageous things you can do is to reflect on your life story and acknowledge your barriers to living a life that aligns with your core values. As a clinician, I work with clients to create a blueprint on how to live a life that is filled with vitality and purpose. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who primarily works with adolescents, adults, and couples. Additionally, I have helped run an Intensive Outpatient Program for adolescents that struggle with anxiety and depression.
I originally graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education in 2015. After teaching for a few years, I decided to pursue a degree in Professional Counseling at the University of Avila where I graduated in 2020 with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Couples.
When working with individuals, I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). When working with couples, I primarily utilize Gottman Theory along with Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).
In my free time, I enjoy spending my time with my wife and daughter, watching sports, working in the yard, cooking, traveling, and reading about history.
