As a member of the team at Psychiatry Associates of Kansas City, Salma Velazquez, M.D. treats patients aged 18 and older.
Dr. Velazquez sees a variety of patients including, but not limited to, those with Depression, Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress, Adult ADHD, Bipolar Disorder and Personality Disorders. Dr. Velazquez is also accepting patients for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Treatments.
Dr. Velazquez completed her residency in General Psychiatry at The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, where she was also elected into the role of Chief Resident. She received her Medical Degree at Ross University School of Medicine and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at the University of California at Irvine.
Dr. Velazquez enjoys learning about different cultures, experimenting with cuisines and running with her dogs.
