Dr. Hachinsky was born in Kansas City, Missouri and in 1991 graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a B.S. degree. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. Dr. Hachinsky completed his internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and served two years on the USS Inchon as the medical officer. Dr. Hachinsky completed his residency at the National Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia in 2001. He then served at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune as a staff psychiatrist and department head for mental health from 2001 to 2004.

He is currently on staff Cass Regional Medical Center and Cameron Regional Medical Center. Dr. Hachinsky is board certified in Psychiatry. He sees patients 18 and older in both inpatient and outpatient settings for pharmaceutical management appropriateness.
